building A COMMUNITY enterprise: St paul's centre, hammersmith
A case study
St Paul's Centre is a business and cultural centre, plus award-winning cafe, uniquely juxtaposed alongside St Paul's Church, serving the community through supporting charities and social enterprises. Given the lack of money in the public purse and growing challenges, they looked to find new ways to build a sense of place, providing people with the help they require and the opportunities they deserve.
We helped them define a community space and profit from the results. Find out more.

CLIENT ENGAGEMENT
Brands
& Enterprises
We are proud of the positive journeys we have helped our clients take. Below are just some of the businesses that we've worked with. Each of them came with a desire for change or had a new story to tell. Here's what some of them had to say about us...
South african airways - Katie way
Tricia stepped in as the go-to designer for all of the offline and online marketing and sales materials for South African Airways in the UK when the new marketing team was brought on board in 2012 after a restructuring.
“I had the pleasure of working with Tricia for almost three years at SAA, and could not recommend her highly enough. Her enthusiasm for all tasks, no matter how big or small, was truly infectious and inspiring to the whole team. Not only did she produce some brilliant creatives for a wide variety of campaigns, but her input during strategic meetings helped to inspire and shape many of those campaigns from the early stages. An integral part of the SAA team, Tricia could always be relied upon to go ‘above and beyond’ and deliver exceptional work despite some often tight deadlines!”
PHOTOGRAPHY OXFORD - Joanna walker
Photography Oxford's mission was to increase the opportunities for regional audiences to engage with world-class photography.
“Sarah’s previous experiences with gallery management and event delivery meant she was able to work well alongside me, and navigate the relationships between a diverse group of venues during a challenging delivery period. She was able to take some of the people pressure off me, so that I could do my job and launch the World Press Photo Awards 2014 in the new Glass Tank Gallery.”
THE ATRIUM CAFE - Wendy & beejal
We stepped in when the existing cafe inside St Paul's Centre transferred ownership to the talented Cooking for a Crowd team. We designed a new logo and created the cafe signage.
“Tricia came up with loads of creative ideas for our signage options. We found her really easy to work with. She has lots of positive energy and we found her to be very flexible. She listened to what we needed and came up with the solutions. She also managed the project through to the end which was really helpful. We are very happy to recommend Tricia, and we are certainly hoping to use her again in future.”
the house of fairy tales - Deborah curtis
This children's arts charity wants to refresh their mission and vision and needs our help to craft a new business plan.
“Sarah is a brilliant mentor. Her understanding of professional structures, management systems, building teams and working within the creative industries is giving me the confidence to bring a business toolkit into our company and charity. She is a delight to spend time with and I would wholeheartedly recommend her as a management consultant. ”

You can't just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new. - Steve Jobs
